Air India has cancelled six international flights, all Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, on Tuesday as the airline initiates major scrutiny of its Boeing aircraft following the fatal crash of flight AI171 on June 12, 2025, in Ahmedabad.

Directorate General of Civil Aviation on Tuesday said that the aviation regulator reviewed the operations of Air India, Air India Express following the recent plane crash, and added that the recent surveillance of airline's Boeing 787 planes did not reveal any major safety concern.
