A tech company whose boss was filmed hugging a colleague at a Coldplay concert has said a purported statement from him expressing remorse is fake.
Astronomer CEO Andy Bryon was placed on leave, a company spokesperson told PEOPLE. Earlier this week, a couple was caught on camera together during a Coldplay concert, prompting singer Chris Martin to joke about them having an "affair.
Internet sleuths immediately seized upon the moment and the pair was identified as Andy Byron, CEO of tech company Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company's Chief People Officer. Byron, who also owns a house assessed at $1.2 million in Northborough, Massachusetts, attended college in Rhode Island.
