The West Indies was set a stressful 301 target to win on a tricky pitch and folded in 33.4 overs. The chief destroyer was seamer Josh Hazlewood with 5-43 from 12 overs.

Bridgetown: West Indies coach and former international cricketer Daren Sammy has been fined 15 per cent of his match fee by the International Cricket Council after slamming the performance of match officials during his side’s loss to Australia in the opening Test.

West Indies coach Daren Sammy has been fined for criticizing TV umpire Adrian Holdstock during a test against Australia. Sammy's main grievance involved Decision Review System inconsistencies. He pleaded guilty to breaching the ICC code.
