Seven of the 10 escaped inmates who escaped a New Orleans jail on May 16 are still on the run, and have been described as "armed and dangerous."

There are indications the prisoners had help from “inside of our department,” the Orleans Parish sheriff said. Three employees are on leave, and an investigation is underway.
