The action between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Cleveland Cavaliers Sunday night at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse became even hotter in the third quarter when Desmond Bane and Donovan Mitchell got into it while battling for possession of the leather.

After Mitchell gained possession of a loose ball, Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane jumped on him to fight for a jump ball. Unfortunately, the action did not stop there. As the two wrestled for the ball, even well after the whistle, tempers flared in front of the Cavaliers bench, causing a huge commotion.

An insurmountable task stood in front of the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Grizzlies ended the third quarter trailing by five points. Cleveland entered the game 41-0 in games where it had a lead entering the fourth quarter.
