A pediatrician and mother of 10 is mourning the deaths of nine of her young children after an Israeli airstrike hit their home in the war-torn Gaza Strip.

Gaza's Health Ministry said 3,785 people have been killed in the territory since Israel ended a ceasefire and renewed its offensive in March.

Two more children were missing, while her husband and one other child were injured in the strike on Friday, the officials said. Israel said it was checking if it had harmed “uninvolved civilians.”
