The Houston Fire Department's Airport Rescue firefighters responded to a plane having issues Sunday morning at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport, the agency said. In an X post around 10 a.m., the agency said it was assisting at the airport after a departing plane "reported an issue on the runway.

The Federal Aviation Administration reports that a United Airlines flight had to be evacuated because of an engine fire.
