Whoever said there were no great underdog stories left in March Madness, or that the title would go to whoever spends the most money — or amasses the best collection of big names from the transfer portal — clearly never checked out Houston.

Madness, the United States' beloved betting holiday, reaches a crescendo on Monday when Houston face Florida after a thrilling men's final four that injected life into a tournament which largely stuck to the script in the early rounds.

Coincidentally, the only other tournament, 2008, that saw this feat also had its Final Four take place in San Antonio, where this year’s event is being held.
