Astros activate Isaac Paredes, place Yordan Alvarez on IL before massive Mariners series
To make room for Paredes on the active roster, the Astros placed Yordan Alvarez on the injured list, retroactive to Sept. 16. Alvarez hasn’t played since spraining his left ankle Monday, though Espada said Friday that Alvarez is out of his walking boot and “feeling better.”
