The Wolverines landed a pair of LBs for depth: Max Alford and Christian Pierce. With those two in the fold, Michigan will add them to its room with Troy Bowles, Nate Owusu-Boateng, and Chase Taylor.

Hurley is the second transfer quarterback picked up by the Wolverines under new head coach Kyle Whittingham, joining Colorado State’s Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi. Michigan has seen three quarterbacks enter the transfer portal since Jan. 2, including 2024 starter Davis Warren.

Christian Pierce is the younger brother of defensive tackle Trey Pierce, a key upperclassmen in the trenches that U-M is hoping to hold on to.

Michigan continues to add depth to the quarterback room and added LSU transfer Colin Hurley on Tuesday.

Michigan added another Utah player through the transfer portal, Smith Snowden, that will help bring experience to the secondary.

Days after adding former Colorado State quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi, the Wolverines have added former LSU quarterback Colin Hurley.

Michigan football is now favored to land former Utah commit and four-star athlete Salesi Moa. Moa, who initially committed to Utah as a wide receiver, entered the transfer portal after enrolling. The Wolverines also offered Moa's brother, former Michigan State linebacker Aisea Moa.

Texas WR Jaime Ffrench Jr. was a top-50 player in the nation coming out of high school, and will have 4 years of eligibility remaining for Michigan.
