Hurricane Gabrielle has intensified to a Category 1 hurricane and is projected to become a major hurricane in the central Atlantic, the National Hurricane Center reported Sunday evening. The hurricane center is also tracking two other systems in Gabrielle’s wake with medium to low chances of formation over the next week.

The National Hurricane Center's 11 a.m. Monday advisory reported that Category 1 Hurricane Gabrielle is in the Atlantic Ocean, 210 miles southeast of Bermuda. With maximum sustained winds of 90 mph, the hurricane is moving north-northwest at 10 mph.
