Prince Harry shared a terse response after his first day in court, following his return to the U.K. for a trial against a major British publisher.

Prince Harry is fighting the British tabloid press in court once again. After the first day of proceedings at London's High Court, the Duke of Sussex appeared notably calm in front of cameras - and summed up his impression in three words.

Prince Harry and other household names - including Sir Elton John and Elizabeth Hurley - are suing the publishers of the Daily Mail over alleged historical privacy breaches in a landmark trial set to last nine weeks.

Sky News were live at the scene as he approached the entrance and despite the earnestness of the hearing he seemed in good spirits smiling and waving to the cameraman and reporters who asked him how he was feeling. He is due to give evidence later in the week but he is not expected to attend the nine-week trial at any other point of the case.

The Duke of Sussex and co-claimants, including Sir Elton John, actor Elizabeth Hurley and racial justice campaigner Baroness Doreen Lawrence, allege that Associated Newspapers (ANL), publisher of the Mail titles, systematically engaged in “unlawful information gathering” between 1993 and 2011.
