Cal Raleigh and the Mariners have been reserving their best for when it matters the most as evidenced by their sweep of the Astros.

J.P. Crawford hit a grand slam and Cal Raleigh slugged his major league-leading 58th home run to lead the Seattle Mariners to a 7-3 win over the Houston Astros on Sunday night. The Mariners completed a three-game sweep that gave them a three-game lead in the AL West over the Astros with six remaining.

Sunday's 7-3 loss to Seattle left Houston in a three-game deficit with six to play. "We have to go out there and win," Carlos Correa said.

In perhaps their biggest regular-season series in the past five seasons, the Mariners strolled into Daikin Park and swept the Astros to take a three-game lead in the AL West.
