NYC's Summer Streets return for 2025, starting in Queens and Staten Island where several blocks were shut down to vehicle traffic.

The NYC Summer Streets program is returning to all five boroughs "with more streets than ever before," the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) said. To celebrate New York City’s 400th anniversary, over 400 blocks of car-free fun, fitness, and live entertainment will be available for people to enjoy.

In all, 22 miles of streets will be closed to cars in all five boroughs over five weekends this summer. CBS News New York's John Dias reports.
