Cam Ward led a touchdown drive in his preseason debut, a 29-7 Titans loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Aug. 9 at Raymond James Stadium. Ward was 5-for-8 for 67 yards, with all the completions coming in the second drive (following an opening drive three-and-out). Tennessee scored on the drive via a Tony Pollard 1-yard touchdown run.

As much as the Bucs dominated the time of possession, they scored just 22 offensive points. That is why the Titans Wire Week 1 preseason Player of the Game is linebacker James Williams Sr.

The Bucs had few high grades or performances in Week 1 of the preseason. The good should outweigh the bad, as they were able to make it a one-sided showing for the team in a dominant performance against the Titans and Cam Ward.
