Pakistan overcame a brief batting collapse on the field and a tumultuous period off it to beat the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 41 runs and qualify for the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup cricket tournament in Dubai.

Pakistan have defeated United Arab Emirates by 41 runs in the 10th match of T-20 Asia Cup in Dubai tonight. Batting first, Pakistan scored 146 runs for the loss of nine wickets in stipulated 20 overs. In reply, UAE were all out on 105 runs in 17.4 overs.

Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Haris accidentally hit umpire Ruchira Palliyaguruge during the Asia Cup 2025 match against the UAE. He was immediately taken off the field and replaced by Gazi Sohel, who officiated as on-field umpire in his place.
