The Australian Open men’s and women’s golf championships will revert to being held separately. Golf Australia has made the decision to end the Open’s men’s and women’s events being played concurrently on the same courses, as has been the case since 2022.

Past Open champion Cam Smith was vocal in his criticism of the men's and women's Australian Open tournaments being played concurrently, so he was more than pleased to hear that Golf Australia had decided to once again hold them separately.
