CAA announces new regulations for drone users from 2026
Under the new rules, which take effect on January 1, 2026, anyone flying a drone weighing more than 100g will be required to complete a theory test and obtain a Flyer ID through the CAA website.
If trends continue as projected, the CAA estimates 200,000 more holidaymakers will be booking in January – a rise of 4.65%.
