Forecasters are continuing to warn residents and travelers in parts of Oregon, Washington, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming of severe snow and hazardous travel conditions, especially in high-elevation regions, through Monday. This follows severe weather warnings that were issued over the weekend by the NWS.

Tons of donations packed and shipped from Miami have been arriving in Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa devastated much of the island, leaving at least 32 dead and over a million people desperate for food and water. But it’s not enough.

Mercy Chefs, a disaster relief organization, has established operations on Jamaica’s west side in St. Elizabeth, an area that had received minimal assistance until now, according to the organization’s founder and CEO Gary LeBlanc.

Tampa businessman David Luckain was born in Jamaica. He was there visiting when Hurricane Melissa hit the Island on October 28th and says he's never experienced anything like it.
