The 'Schitt's Creek' star married her husband, Bo Welch, in 1992

O’Hara has said she first noticed Welch while filming Beetlejuice, recalling in interviews that the two quickly formed a friendship on set. O'Hara described Welch as “good-looking” and said they spent much of their time talking and laughing together during production, while speaking exclusively with PEOPLE in 2024.
