Trump warned conservatives against pushing for deep cuts to Medicaid and told blue-state Republicans to drop their effort to raise the cap on state and local tax deductions, known as SALT.

Shortly after meeting with Republican House members on Capitol Hill Tuesday, President Trump underscored that his party is unified.
