Frozen isn't the only Disney classic with another installment in the works, either, with Toy Story 5 and Zootopia 2 announced alongside Frozen 3.

Frozen screenwriter and co-director Jennifer Lee is headed back into the unknown with Frozen 3 – and, thanks to the scale of the story so far, she's potentially embarking on a fourquel, too.

Zootopia 2 got an official 2025 release date after Disney CEO Bob Iger also confirmed some approximate release timings for Toy Story 5, The Mandalorian and Grogu, and Frozen 3.

Frozen 3's release date has been pushed out of 2026 and into some time in 2027, with Disney also teasing the release of Frozen 4. In addition, Disney revealed the first concept art for Frozen 3.
