A June poll from Emerson College showed Harris losing her edge in a hypothetical 2028 Democratic presidential primary. The poll showed former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg in the lead with 16% of support, while Harris closely trailed with 13% of support. California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) clinched 12% of support in the recent poll.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris will release a book in September about her historic campaign for president. “What the world saw on the campaign trail was only a part of the story,” Harris wrote in a social media post about the book’s release.
