Sean McVay is a certified football savant, and that was the difference for ex-Jets receiver Davante Adams. Adams somewhat surprisingly signed with the Los Angeles Rams in free agency after they decided to move on from longtime star wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

Adams likely had a lot of suitors this offseason, but he picked the Rams as a destination to finish his career because he wanted to return to California and play for a contender. That, and head coach Sean McVay's pursuit of Adams while he was in Japan.
