More than 650 Walmart stores in 47 states and Puerto Rico will be remodeled following the concept of "Store of the Future" this year.

In Ohio, Walmart will remodel 23 locations in nearly every corner of the state. Central Ohio will see at least six stores renovated this year alone, according to the company. Walmart operates 138 supercenters in Ohio, according to the company that also runs Sam's Club, which has 27 Ohio locations.
