An officer with the California Highway Patrol died Wednesday after suffering from a medical emergency following an arrest in Culver City, authorities said, leading to a single-car crash. Luzdelia Caballero reports.

Two California Highway Patrol officers were injured Wednesday morning when their vehicle crashed into a tree in Culver City. The crash was reported just after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bristol Parkway near Green Valley Circle.

A bell toll tribute ceremony was held Thursday in memory of Officer Miguel Cano, who died after he was involved in a crash in Culver City.
