A man's body was found in the Kern River Saturday morning near Hobo Campground, the Kern County Sheriff's Office reported.

A motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition Sunday night after a broadside collision with a minivan at the intersection of Union Avenue and 34th Street, t Police Department reported.
