The rest of the Preakness field is yet to be determined. The Preakness field is traditionally much smaller than the Derby. A year ago, only eight horses entered the starting gate at Pimlico.

Sovereignty ran away with the 151st Kentucky Derby on Saturday at a muddy Churchill Downs and it only took a few minutes of celebrating before the obvious question was asked of the thoroughbred's trainers: Will the horse run the Preakness Stakes next?
