The Cleveland Guardians have six games left against the Detroit Tigers and Texas Rangers that they need to win to have a shot to make the playoffs.
The Tigers, Red Sox, Astros and Rangers all lost yesterday. The Rangers are all but out of it, which is a good thing for that final series, in theory. Even though the Guardians’ lost, it was still a pretty good day for them in terms of playoff odds.
