Wilson, a 6-foot-4 center for the Las Vegas Aces, has dominated this year. In her eighth season, she finished in the top five in points, rebounds, blocks and steals.
Wilson, who also won in 2020, 2022 and 2024, is now the first four-time MVP in WNBA history. She was previously in a four-way tie with three-time MVPs Lisa Leslie, Sheryl Swoopes and Lauren Jackson for the most in league history.
Shortly after the news came out, the WNBA posted a video of the Aces star receiving her MVP trophy back on Friday. While WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert was at the Las Vegas facility to give Wilson her trophy and a congratulatory speech, another special guest actually handed Wilson the trophy: her boyfriend and Heat star Bam Adebayo.
