LOS ANGELES — Deuce McBride’s first crack as Jalen Brunson’s replacement was a disappointment. He expects to be better. “I’ve been a point guard my whole life,” McBride said. “I’ll bounce back and we’ll figure it out.”
Miles "Deuce" McBride had the close encounter with J Hud as he tried to save the ball from going out of bounds.
McBride is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Clippers, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports. As expected, McBride gets the start in place of Jalen Brunson (ankle). In his lone start of the season,

On top of that, her boyfriend Common accidentally bopped her in the face while trying to protect her from the ball, knocking off her glasses. At the same time, Knicks guard Miles McBride ran into her trying to pursue the loose ball. "Protect Jennifer Hudson!!" TNT play-by-play announcer Ian Eagle said on the broadcast.
To the public eye, McBride hasn’t always been a good 3-point shooter. In very limited minutes during his first two seasons, McBride never shot better than 30 percent behind the arc. However, behind the scenes, head coach Tom Thibodeau and the Knicks coaching staff felt very confident that McBride would show more than he had with more opportunity.
