Despite not being the Western Conference's undisputed favorites, the Los Angeles Lakers remain formidable challengers, led by stars such as LeBron James and Luka Doncic.

In the 10 games Doncic has appeared in since the trade, Los Angeles is 8-2. They've now won eight games in a row. And while Doncic, after a bit of a slow start in a Lakers uniform, has now found his stride, the play of James, particularly on the defensive end of the floor, has been a major factor behind LA's winning streak.

The Los Angeles Lakers traded for Luka Doncic ahead of the NBA trade deadline. While it shocked many, LeBron James was able to reunite with his old teammate, Markieff Morris. He's one of the teammates James has always had love and appreciation for. Both of them were a part of the 2020 Lakers title in the bubble. That season was an absolute cluster.
