Shalimar Bagh MLA Rekha Gupta has become Delhi's fourth woman CM as well as the fourth BJP leader to hold the post. So far, none of the previous CMs from the BJP have completed a full term in office.

First time MLA Rekha Gupta was sworn-in as the fourth woman chief minister of the national capital after BJP made a comeback in the city after 27 years

An old picture of Gupta, along with former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, has been doing the rounds on social media platforms. Interestingly, Swaraj served as the CM of Delhi for two months – from October 1998 to December 1998 – becoming the first woman to hold the position.
