President Donald Trump's "big, beautiful bill" failed to pass the House Budget Committee on Friday, in what appears to be a massive blow to House GOP leaders' plans to hold a House-wide vote next week.

Lawmakers from the president's own party joined all Democrats to reject a key domestic bill, demanding deeper budget cuts.

The sweeping Republican mega-bill hit a major road block, threatening to derail huge parts of Trump's second-term agenda
