Ukraine’s Centre for Strategic Communications and Information Security has denied claims that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin’s helicopter came under attack from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Russia’s Kursk Oblast.

Ukraine’s capital Kyiv came under a large-scale Russian drone and missile attack overnight into Saturday, just hours after Russia and Ukraine began a major prisoner exchange.

Prior to the attack, city mayor Vitalii Klitschko warned Kyiv residents of more than 20 Russian strike drones heading towards Kyiv.
