Steelers star: Pittsburgh identified Patriots’ bad habits on tape before taking advantage
FOXBOROUGH — On Sunday afternoon, the Patriots turned the ball over five times for the first time since 2008. New England lost four fumbles and Drake Maye threw an interception en route to a 21-14 loss to the Steelers.
Aaron Rodgers passed Brett Favre on the NFL’s all-time touchdown passes list with a first-half score, then added another TD toss late as the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New England Patriots, 21-14, on Sunday.

Patriots fumbles today: How Rhamondre Stevenson, Drake Maye turnovers hurt New England in loss
In all, the Steelers scored 14 points off of Patriots turnovers, with each goal-to-go turnover effectively representing a scoring swing with as many as 14 points denied. The Patriots fumbled twice more in the third quarter, with Stevenson and Antonio Gibson losing the ball once each.
With that said, the biggest post-game talking point will be running back Rhamondre Stevenson's fumbling issues. He coughed up two fumbles in the loss, including one on the goal line. The team turned to veteran Antonio Gibson after that second fumble by Stevenson, and Gibson coughed up a fumble on the ensuing offensive drive.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are now 2-1 following a game that saw them force 5 turnovers on their way to a 21-14 win against the New England Patriots.
