A pivotal play in that game came when star quarterback Patrick Mahomes attempted to hit tight end Travis Kelce with a potential touchdown pass that would have given Kansas City a 17-13 lead early in the fourth quarter. Instead, the ball bounced off of Kelce’s hands and directly to his opponent.
