As part of the Cleveland Cavaliers elimination of navy blue and switch to a more metallic gold in 2022-23 the primary icon C logo also received a mild update to reflect these changes. The logo still showed a cursive C in wine and gold, the lone holdover from their last major rebranding twenty years prior.
