Today we remember WWII Medal of Honor recipient Pvt. Nicholas Minue. In the heat of battle on April 28, 1943, Minue charged into enemy fire with unwavering courage and "complete disregard of his own welfare", single-handedly taking out machine gunners and riflemen to break the German defenses in Tunisia. His fearless actions inspired his unit to victory—but cost him his life. Minue's Medal of Honor citation highlights his courage and fearlessness in the face of inevitable death. He is buried in
