Muscatine Public Works street department crews spent Wednesday (April 12) morning training on the installation, inspection, and removal of Floodgate #1 located at the eastern end of Mississippi Drive. Installation, inspection, and any needed repairs to the various parts of the structure were accomplished along with training members of the Public Works crew who have not been a part of the installation before. The floodgate was removed at the end of the exercise and the street reopened to traffic.
