Oceaneering’s Freedom™ AUV successfully completed North Sea trials in a development program supported by Equinor, Chevron and TotalEnergies. Freedom proved its ability to autonomously dock and undock via subsea cage in challenging weather conditions, its battery capacity during long excursion missions, and its flight control behaviors during pipeline visual inspections at low altitude.
