On December 6, 1989, 14 women were killed at Polytechnique Montréal in what became known as the Montreal Massacre. Today is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women - a day to remember these women and a reminder to ourselves to continue to stand up against gender-based violence.
